  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. raw oatmeal
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 c. sliced peaches
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

    Combine flour, brown sugar, oatmeal, butter and cinnamon; mix until crumbly.

    Line bottom and sides of a 9-inch square baking dish with half of mixture; press firmly.

    Add peaches.

    Boil together sugar, cornstarch and water until clear.

    Add vanilla. Pour over peaches and cover with remaining half of crumb mixture. Bake in a 300° oven for 1 hour.
