- 3 1/2 c. sliced peaches or 1 (No. 2 1/2) can
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 pt. vanilla ice cream
- 1 baked 9-inch pie shell
- 1/2 c. whipped cream
Directions

1Drain peaches; save syrup.

2Add water to syrup to make 1 cup. Heat to boiling.

3Add gelatin; stir until dissolved.

4Add cold water.

5Cut ice cream into 6 pieces.

6Add to hot liquid.

7Stir until melted.

8Chill until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from spoon (15 to 20 minutes).
