  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 48 milk chocolate candy kisses

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, except candy, in large mixing bowl. Mix on lowest speed until completely mixed.

    Make balls and roll in sugar.

    Bake 10 minutes at 350° on ungreased cookie sheet. Remove from oven and top immediately with a candy kiss.
