- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. light Karo
- 1/4 c. butter
- 12 oz. Spanish peanuts with skins
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Boil sugar, water and corn syrup (Karo) until threads.

2Add butter and peanuts.

3Cook slowly to 300°.

4Add vanilla and baking soda.

5(Stir quickly because it foams up.) Spread onto 2 greased cookie sheets.

6When cool, break into smaller pieces.

7Makes 3 pounds.
