  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. white syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 1/2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. soda

Directions

    Boil the sugar, water, syrup and salt to a hard boil, 250°. Add the butter and the Spanish peanuts.

    Cook to a golden brown. Remove from heat and add the vanilla and soda.

    Spread on buttered pans.
