- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Boil ingredients to 238° on candy thermometer.

2Remove from heat; add 1 1/2 cups Spanish peanuts.

3Return to heat and cook to 300°, stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat.

5Add 2 teaspoons baking soda.

6Stir thoroughly and quickly.

7Pour on buttered cookie sheet.

8Cool, then crack brittle and remove from cookie sheet.

9Place in an airtight container.
