- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. butter/margarine
- 2 c. peanuts
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1In a 3-quart saucepan, heat together sugar, corn syrup and water, stirring until sugar dissolves.

2When syrup boils, blend butter/margarine.

3Stir frequently.

4Add peanuts when temperature is 200°.

5Stir constantly to hard-crack stage, 305°.

6Remove from heat; stir in soda.

7Mix well.

8Pour into 2 buttered cookie sheets.

9Loosen from pan.

10When hard, break into pieces.
