- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 1/2 c. raw peanuts
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup, water and peanuts.

2Measure into custard cup soda and salt.

3Cook together sugar, corn syrup, water and peanuts for 30 to 35 minutes after it begins to boil, until it is amber, a little deeper than straw color.

4Add soda and salt, mixed.

5Remove from heat.

6Beat until blended and pour onto heavy buttered aluminum tray.

7Pull edges to thin sheets; cut off pieces with kitchen shears.

8Cool and store tightly covered.
