- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. salted peanuts
- 2 c. peanuts
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. butter
Directions

1Cook first 4 ingredients to 280°.

2Sample dropped in water will be hard.

3Add 2 cups peanuts; cook about 3 minutes, until light golden brown.

4Add soda.

5Remove at once from heat; add vanilla and butter as soon as foaming has subsided, pour into greased shallow pan.

6When cool, break into pieces.

7Foolproof if you use candy thermometer.
