- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 2 tsp. butter or oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Cook sugar, syrup and water to soft ball stage (234° to 240°). Add raw peanuts.

2Continue cooking until light brown in color and gives hard crack test (300° to 310°).

3Remove from fire and add butter, vanilla and soda.

4Mix well.

5Pour on a buttered cookie sheet and spread thin as possible.

6When nearly cool, turn over and stretch to desired thinness.

7Break into pieces.
