- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. white syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. butter
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Cook together sugar, syrup and water to a hard ball stage (250°).

2Add peanuts and butter and cook to a light caramel color (about 7 1/2 minutes over medium heat).

3Remove from heat and add vanilla and soda.

4Stir quickly and pour out on buttered foil. Let cool.
