- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. pecan halves
- 1/2 stick oleo
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. soda
Directions

1In a heavy 4-quart pan, combine sugar, syrup and water.

2Boil rapidly over high heat until it spins a thread.

3Add pecans. Continue cooking until it turns a light brown.

4Remove from heat. Add oleo and vanilla.

5Stir.

6Add soda.

7Stir.

8While it is still bubbling, pour out on 2 greased cookie sheets as thinly as possible.

9Let cool.
