- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 c. boiling water
- 2 c. dry roasted peanuts
- 1 tsp. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine first 3 ingredients in large, heavy saucepan.

2Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.

3Cover and cook over heat for 2 to 3 minutes to melt sugar crystals on sides of pan.

4Uncover.

5Add peanuts and cook, stirring occasionally, to hard-crack stage (300°).

6Stir in butter and soda.
