- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Place all ingredients except soda in iron skillet over medium heat.

2Boil, stirring constantly.

3Cook until mixture smells scorched, about 10 to 15 minutes.

4Stir with wooden spoon.

5Take off heat and add soda.

6Stir quickly.

7Spread on buttered cookie sheet.

8Let cool; pop out of pan and break in pieces.
