  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 1/3 c. water
  • 1 (13 oz.) can salted peanuts
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Place pumpkin on large cookie sheet or in roaster.

    Bake 2 hours or more at 350°.

    Scoop out and freeze or can.

    If stringy, run through food mill.
