- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- dash of salt
- 3 c. peanuts
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Put all ingredients in thick saucepan.

2Cook on medium heat to 225°.

3Add 1 1/2 to 3 cups of peanuts.

4Cook to 295°.

5Cut heat. Add 2 tablespoons butter and 1 teaspoon baking soda.

6Stir well. Pour in buttered pie pans.

7Cool.

8Break in pieces.
