- 2 (1/4 ounce) packages yeast
- 12 cup warm water
- 1 14 cups milk
- 1 cup water
- 14 cup butter or 14 cup margarine
- 14 cup sugar
- 2 12 teaspoons salt
- 6 -6 14 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups oats
Directions

1Dissovle yeast in warm water.

2Combine milk and cold water, heat.

3Pour hot liquid over over butter, sugar and salt, stirring until butter melts.

4Cool to lukewarm.

5Stir in 2 cups flour, dissolved yeast and oats.

6Stir in additional flour to make dough soft.

7Turn onto floured surface: knead about 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

8Shape to form ball, place in greased bowl, turning over to coat surface of dough.

9Cover; let rise in warm place about 1 hour or untildoubled in size.

10Punch dough down.

11Cover; let rest 10 minutes.

12Shape into 2 loaves; brush with melted butter.

13Cover let rise additional 45 minutes or nearly doubled in size.

14Bake in pre-heated over for 45 to 50 minutes.
