- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. raw shelled peanuts
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 c. water
Directions

1In heavy sauce pan, over medium heat, bring to boil sugar, corn syrup, salt and 1/4 c. water, stirring frequently until it reaches 300°.

2Remove from heat and quickly stir in butter and baking soda.

3Immediately pour onto greased cookie sheet.

4With two forks, lift and pull peanut brittle mixture into about 14 x 12 inch rectangle.

5Cool.

6With hand shape candy into pieces.
