- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Karo syrup (white)
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 3 c. raw peanuts
Directions

1Lightly grease a cookie sheet and set aside.

2Mix sugar, syrup, water and salt in a skillet.

3Bring to a boil.

4Boil until clear.

5Add peanuts; stir continuously while boiling until candy is brittle when dropped in cold water.

6Remove from heat, but continue stirring until it stops bubbling.

7Add baking soda. Mixture will foam up.

8Stir until well mixed and pour onto greased cookie sheet.

9Let set until cool and break into small pieces.
