- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. Karo white syrup
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 lb. raw Spanish peanuts
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Boil sugar, syrup and water until it strings (dip spoon in mixture, let drip, cook until it make a thread-like string).

2Add peanuts and boil until peanuts turn in color (295° on candy thermometer).

3Remove from heat and add soda, mixing well and quickly.

4Mixture will be foamy.

5Immediately spread as thin as possible onto large buttered cookie sheet or greased marble slab. After cooled, break up into pieces.

6Store in covered container. Makes 36 servings.
