Ingredients
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Mix the sugar, corn syrup and water in a greased 2-quart saucepan.

2(I use Pam cooking spray.)

3Stir constantly and cook the mixture to 238° on a candy thermometer or the soft ball stage. Add the margarine and the peanuts.

4Still stirring, cook the mixture to 300° or the hard crack stage.

5Remove the pan from the burner and add the vanilla and soda.

6Stir until the mixture becomes foamy.

7Spread the mixture on a greased cookie sheet.

8Let it cool, then break it into bite-size pieces.
