- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. soda
Directions

1Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in heavy skillet.

2Cook slowly.

3Stir until sugar is dissolved.

4Cook to soft ball stage. Add salt and peanuts.

5Cook to hard crack stage, stirring constantly.

6Remove from heat.

7Stir in butter and soda (mixture will be bubbly).

8Pour on buttered cookie sheet.
