  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. peanuts
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine

Directions

    Cook sugar, syrup and water to 250°, then add margarine and peanuts

    and cook to 310°. (Will be light brown.) Remove from heat. Add vanilla and soda.

    Stir fast; no lumps.

    Foams up quick.

    Pour quickly onto buttered cookie sheet; don't try to spread. Cool, then break.
