- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 lb. raw peanuts
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine syrup, sugar and water in saucepan.

2Bring to a boil and boil to 230° or until syrup spins thread, 15 to 20 minutes. Add peanuts and continue to cook to 300° (15 to 20 minutes). Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla, soda and salt.

3Stir until blended.

4Turn into a well-greased jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch).

5When cool, break into pieces.

6Makes 1 1/2 pounds.
