- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. white Karo
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 1/4 tsp. soda
- 2 or 3 c. raw peanuts
Directions

1Cook sugar, water and Karo on high until it threads or 300° on candy thermometer.

2Then add 2 or 3 cups of raw peanuts.

3Turn heat to medium until peanuts are parched or the color of peanut butter. Take off heat and add salt, butter and soda.

4Stir for 1 minute, then pour into a large cookie pan which has been buttered well.
