  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white syrup
  • 6 oz. raw peanuts
  • 2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Combine sugar, syrup and peanuts in pan.

    Bring to a boil and cook to hard crack stage (290°), stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat to stir in baking soda.
  4. 4
    Pour into greased cooking sheet and pull and stretch thin.

    Yields one pound.
