Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 5 c. (1 1/2 lb.) raw peanuts
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 Tbsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook sugar, corn syrup and water to 240°.

2Add peanuts.

3Cook to 295°, stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat; add butter.

5Stir until dissolved.

6Add soda and salt; stir vigorously.

7Pour out on a buttered slab and spread as thinly as possible.

8Cool.
-
9Break or cut into pieces when ready.

10Makes about 50 pieces.
