Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. raw peanuts
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine sugar, Karo syrup and water in a large pan.

    Cook over medium heat until it becomes brittle and breaks when dropped in cold water.

    Add peanuts and cook until peanuts begin to pop. Remove from heat and add butter, baking soda and vanilla.

    Stir and pour onto greased cookie sheet.
