- 1 c. raw peanuts
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 tsp. oleo
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1In a 1 1/2-quart casserole, stir together peanuts, sugar, syrup and salt.

2Cook 8 minutes on High, stirring well after 4 minutes. Stir in oleo and vanilla.

3Cook 2 minutes longer on High.

4Add baking soda and quickly stir until light and foamy.

5Immediately pour into lightly greased baking sheet (use Pam).

6Spread out thin. (I use aluminum pie pans.)

7When cool, break into small pieces. Store in an airtight container.

8Makes about 1 pound of candy.
