- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. shelled raw peanuts
- 1 tsp. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup and salt in 2-quart casserole.

2Mix well. Microwave at High for 5 minutes.

3Stir in peanuts.

4Microwave at High for 4 to 11 minutes or until syrup and peanuts are lightly browned, stirring every 2 minutes.

5Stir in butter, vanilla and soda until light and foamy.

6Spread to 1/4 inch thickness on large, well buttered baking sheet.

7Cool until set.

8Makes about 1 pound.
