  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts

Directions

    Put sugar, water and syrup in a pan.

    Bring it to a boil (hard cook 300° on candy thermometer).

    Remove from heat.

    Add baking soda, butter and Spanish peanuts.

    Stir.

    Pour into well-greased pan and let cool.
