  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. white syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. Spanish peanuts
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda

Directions

    Boil sugar, salt, white syrup and water to 275°.

    Add butter and vanilla.

    Boil to 290°.

    Add Spanish peanuts.

    Boil to 300°. Remove from heat and add soda.

    Pour in buttered cookie sheet. Let cool and break in pieces.
