- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 c. peanuts
Directions

1Combine sugars, corn syrup and water in saucepan.

2Cook, stirring until sugar is dissolved.

3Cook without stirring to 300° on candy thermometer.

4Remove from heat; add salt, butter and soda and stir just to mix.

5Add nuts and turn into shallow greased pan. Let stand for a minute or so and then pull quite thin.

6When cold, break up.
