- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light Karo syrup
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 lb. shelled raw peanuts
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Put sugar, syrup, butter and salt in an electric frypan.

2Heat to 350° until dissolved.

3Turn heat to 400°.

4Add peanuts and stir constantly until lightly brown (about 7 minutes). Sprinkle baking soda onto candy. Turn off.

5Stir thoroughly.

6Pour onto greased cookie sheet. Grease bottom of spoon and spread evenly.

7Let cool, then store in covered container.
