- 1 lb. shelled raw peanuts
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. fresh baking soda
Directions

1Grease platter first.

2The size of the platter will depend on how thick or thin you like your brittle.

3Mix all ingredients except peanuts and baking soda in saucepan.

4Cook on medium heat until sugar dissolves.

5Add the peanuts and continue cooking, stirring constantly, until peanuts are light brown.

6Remove from heat and stir in the baking soda quickly.

7Immediately spread on greased platter.

8Cool and break into pieces to serve.
