- 1 12 cups raw peanuts
- 1 cup sugar
- 12 cup light corn syrup
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions

1Combine peanuts, sugar, corn syrup, and salt in Dutch oven.

2Cook over low heat, stirring gently until sugar dissolves.

3Cover and cook over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes to wash down sugar crystals from sides of pan.

4Uncover and cook, stirring occasionally, to hard crack stage (300F).

5Stir in butter, soda, and vanilla.

6Pour into buttered 15-x10-x1 inch jellyroll pan, spreading thinly.

7Let cool.

8Break into pieces.
