  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 2/3 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
  • powdered sugar (generous amount)
  • peanut butter

Directions

    Mix sugar, water and syrup in deep pan.

    Bring to a boil. Cook to hard ball stage or 250°.

    Slowly pour over egg whites while beating with mixer.

    Beat until candy clings to spoon and loses most of its shine.

    Let cool.
