  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3/4 c. peanut butter
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • Hershey's chocolate Kisses
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Sift flour, soda and salt together.

    Cream shortening, sugars and peanut butter. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Stir in sifted flour mixture.

    Roll 1/2 teaspoon of mixture into a ball, then roll ball in sugar.

    Bake 8 minutes at 375°.

    Place candy Kiss in middle of each cookie and bake 25 minutes longer.
