- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. rolled oats (uncooked)
- 1/2 c. Spanish nuts
Directions

1Mix sugar, butter and milk in saucepan; bring to a rolling boil.

2Continue to boil 3 minutes, stirring frequently.

3Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter and vanilla.

4Fold in oats and peanuts.

5Drop by scant tablespoonfuls onto wax paper or baking sheet.

6Let stand until set.

7Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
