Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup finely chopped celery
  • 12 cup sour cream
  • 12 cup mayonnaise
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 cup chopped green onion
  • 14 cup chopped green pepper
  • 12 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 12 cup coarsely chopped dry roasted peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Directions

    Toss cabbage and celery together, and chill.

    Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, onion, green pepper and cucumber in a small bowl.

    Chill.

    Just before serving, melt butter in a small skillet, and add peanuts.

    Heat until lightly browned.

    Immediately stir in cheese.

    Toss chilled vegetables with dressing, and sprinkle peanut mixture on top.
