Peanutty Cereal Squares

   Butter a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

   In a large saucepan, melt butter, marshmallows and peanut butter over low heat, stirring until smooth.

   Remove from heat.

   Mix in cereal and peanuts until thoroughly coated.

   Pat mixture into pan with buttered back of spoon. Chill until set, about 1 hour.

   Cut into 2 1/4-inch squares.

   Makes 16 squares.
