- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 2/3 c. vegetable oil
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. peeled, grated pears
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl.

2Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.

3Into the well, add oil, eggs, sugar, grated pears, nuts and vanilla. Stir only until moistened.

4Grease and flour 2 (8 x 5 x 3-inch) loaf pans.

5Also, line bottoms with wax paper.

6Spoon batter into pans dividing it evenly.

7Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
