- 3 pears, about 1lb
- 1 red chili pepper
- 12 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 ounce raisins
Directions

1Peel and deseed the pears.

2Cut the pears into cubes.

3Deseed and finely chop the chili.

4Put 1/2 cup of sugar in a saucepan.

5Heat the sugar (on low heat) until it becomes light brown.

6Add pears, chili, 3 tablespoons sugar and balsamic vinegar.

7Mix and cook, uncovered, on low heat for about 15 minutes.

8Add raisins and cook another 2 minutes.

9Chill and keep refridgerated.
