  • 6 to 7 fresh pears, pared, diced or sliced
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. lemon peel
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • spices (your choice)
  • 1 pie crust

Directions

    Sprinkle pears with lemon juice.

    Mix sugar, lemon peel and flour.

    Stir into pears.

    Pour into crust. Put margarine and spices

    on top

    and bake at 400° for 45 minutes.

    Remove from oven.

    Place grated cheese on top. Return to oven until cheese melts.
