- 6 pears, Bartlett work best, peeled, cored and diced
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons Splenda Sugar Blend for Baking
- 2 teaspoons almond extract (optional but strongly recommended)
Directions

1Mix all ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat.

2Bring to a boil, lower heat, cover and simmer on low for 15 to20 minutes or until pears are tender.

3Mash leaving some chunks.

4Store in fridge or freezer.
