- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. wild rice
- 6 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- lemon wedges
- fresh parsley
Directions

1Rinse rice under cold running water until water is clear. Combine rice, water and salt in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil.

2Cover; reduce heat to low and cook 1 hour, or until rice is tender.

3Add butter; stir well and pack into an 8-cup ovenproof mold.

4Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

6Unmold and garnish with parsley and lemon.
