Ingredients
- 1/2 c. rice, uncooked
- 1/3 c. mushrooms, chopped
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. ginger root
- 6 water chestnuts, chopped
- 1 to 2 green onions, chopped
Directions

1Put egg, sugar, soy sauce and salt in bowl and mix.

2Pour over pork already in bowl.

3Add mushrooms, 2 green onions, water chestnuts and ginger.

4Mix well.

5Roll into small balls.

6Place uncooked rice on a towel.

7Spread out.

8Roll pork balls in rice until well coated.

9Place balls on a piece of wax paper and put into a steamer.

10Steam 30 minutes.

11Take out with tongs and put on serving tray.

12Serve with duck sauce, soy sauce or even mustard, if preferred.
