  • 8 pear halves. water-packed
  • 1 cup uncreamed cottage cheese
  • 3 tbsp. pure carob, grated
  • 1 tbsp. frozen apple juice, thawed
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp. skim milk

Directions

    Put a pear half in each of 8 dessert dishes.

    Mix together the cheese, skim milk, apple juice and vanilla; blend until smooth.

    Spoon this mixture on each of the pear halves.

    Sprinkle with grated carob and serve.
