  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups (8 ounces) pecan halves
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

    Make crust: Put butter and brown sugar into the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment; mix on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
