- 2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or oleo
- 1/2 c. white syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 qt. pecan kernels
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Heat oven to 325°.

2First heat pecan kernels in a buttered pan and spread evenly.

3Boil first four ingredients until it turns golden brown.

4Add soda and vanilla.

5Pour over pecans in pan. Spread thin.

6Break in pieces.
